Here is Bethie holding on for dear life as she tackles this monster of a wall.

Dave was left hanging inches above the ground for about 5 minutes after a little sibling rivalry taught him a quick lesson never to insult his sister while she is belaying for him.

For some reason, Dave felt he was Sylvester Stalone in "Cliffhanger" as he posed for this "edge of your seat" pose

Bills Yard

This is my equipment, and one summer evening we got daring and decided to put it to some use.  We used it once before...but I got Dave stuck 40 feet up and he had to use a knife to cut the rope to get down.  This time, we just strung the rope between two trees and let him hang there again until we were ready to let him down.

Does this pose look familiar? If not...its from the opening scene of "Cliffhanger" when the girl fell a thousand feet to her death.

Was Dave really 1,000 feet above a rocky gorge? Naw...here is 6 foot tall Will standing a few feet below Dave.

Here is one last shot of Mountain man Dave waiting to come down.  You may be wondering why he is wearing a helmet and a head lamp...well...you must always be ready for falling rock and be prepared to survive incase you fall into a deep crevasse.
